Are you wondering, “What will be in my Weekly Fig CSA box?”
Weekly Fig sources from multiple farms in the Chattanooga area to offer a variety of produce in each CSA box. Our goal is to not weigh you down with too many unfamiliar items but to offer challenges and opportunities to try new things. Are you are thinking…”I hope I don’t get eggplant every week.” Or “I wish I didn’t get so many greens.” Don’t worry, our desire is to not overwhelm you with items that aren’t always practical to use up in a week’s time.
The beauty of a CSA is that we get to enjoy what is being harvested in and around Chattanooga each week during the season. Weekly Fig wants to help you each week by offering a carefully planned, suggested meal plan that accompanies your box with new and delicious recipes for you to try.
The growing season varies for each item, here is a list of what may be included in your box from farms such as Sandabama Farm in Bryant, AL, Farm 58 in Dunlap, TN, Healthy Kitchen in Dunlap, TN, Morgan Family Farm in Etowah, TN, and Kensington Farm in Chickamauga, GA.
